East Lansing, MI – CourseWeaver, an educational software company based out of East Lansing, MI has announced today that Christine Griftner, an accomplished leader in educational technology and Brian Polowniak, a prominent leader in business, have joined CourseWeaver’s advisory board. The two bring with them a diverse wealth of insight and experience with more than a combined total of 50+ years in industry.

Christine Griftner is a third generation educator; starting her career as a tenured elementary classroom teacher in Illinois and returning to school to complete a Masters in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University after 20+ years in the Ed Tech industry. Her industry experience includes regional, national and global positions at Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer, Jostens Learning, IBM and Xerox. She has held sales, marketing, channel & business development positions
As an industry consultant, Christine worked on a wide range of projects & product development; from conference planning with SIIA, to client support of SaaS enterprise products, and market tools such as her collaboration with SRI in the development of the US DOE ‘School 2.0 etoolkit’. She is a member of Phi Delta Kappa, ISTE, and ASCD; along with these, she served elected terms on the CoSN & SIIA education boards.
